As a subcontractor on the Society Atlanta Mixed-Use project, Ruby-Collins performed site grading, excavation, and utility installation at the base of a 31-story, 735,000 GSF tower at the corner of 6th Street and Peachtree in Midtown Atlanta. The scope included excavation and haul-off of 30,000 CY of material, along with installation of new water, sewer, and storm piping.
This site was located in the heart of midtown Atlanta, with very little area to work and store materials. This required intense planning and coordination to get the site ready for the GC to begin the foundation work to keep the project on schedule.
