Atlanta, GA Ruby-Collins crews supported the Shepherd Center expansion project within an active hospital campus environment. Work included site demolition and clearing, erosion control implementation, and mass grading operations to prepare the building pad and surrounding infrastructure for the expansion. Complete utility installation encompassed new storm drainage systems, sanitary sewer lines, and domestic and fire water utilities, including all piping, manholes, hydrants, and associated structures. Utility tie-ins to existing municipal systems integrated the new infrastructure with city services. The project also included detention pond installation and comprehensive testing of all installed water infrastructure to ensure system integrity and performance. All construction activities were carefully coordinated to minimize disruption to ongoing hospital operations.
