This progressive design-build project delivers expansion of the Pumpkinvine Creek Water Reclamation Facility through a two-phase approach. Phase One encompasses design of a new headworks facility and existing Plant Two process immediate needs. This phase includes reviewing capacity expansion opportunities within the existing facility footprint, followed by design of additional expansion outside the current footprint to achieve a total NPDES discharge permit capacity of 4 MGD. Engineering design of the MBR expansion develops all necessary documents required by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, including the Environmental Impact Document and Design Development Report, with full regulatory concurrence obtained. This comprehensive design approach ensures equipment sizing in Phase Two meets both existing and future capacity requirements.
Phase Two involves complete design, construction, and post-construction tasks for the immediate needs improvements. Services include performance testing, startup and commissioning, and operator training and support to ensure successful facility operation and long-term reliability at the expanded treatment capacity.
