Division I encompasses site clearing, grading, and drainage infrastructure installation for the proposed Phase I 5 MGD Water Reclamation Facility. Ruby-Collins performed modifications and conversion of the existing transfer pump station, discharge piping, and structures, along with construction of a new influent pump station, installation of plant headworks (drum screen and grit removal system), and a 2.5 million gallon equalization (EQ) tank.
Division II includes installation of the complete 5 MGD MBR water reclamation facility. The biological treatment system features membrane bioreactors with a treatment train consisting of plug flow anaerobic, anoxic, two aeration bioreactors, swing zone/distribution channel, and four MBR tanks to remove soluble organics and ammonia. Additional facilities include effluent pump station, reuse water facility, oxygenation system, sludge dewatering facility, UV disinfection, chemical feed systems, and electrical facilities, along with site work for yard piping, paving, and fencing.
Division III consists of installation of approximately 12,000 linear feet of 30-inch effluent force main between the new WRF and discharge point at the Ogeechee River, including construction of the proposed discharge structure and diffuser system for environmentally compliant effluent discharge.
Ruby-Collins crews built a new influent pump station and headworks structure, a 2.5 MG prestressed concrete equalization tank, treatment basins, a membrane bioreactor system, effluent pumping facilities, aerobic digestion and UV disinfection facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
Three-division CMAR project delivering 5 MGD MBR facility with equalization tank, headworks, effluent force main, and river discharge structure.
Our teams used precise surveying processes and specialty drilling equipment to successfully install the force main. We provided hands-on training and maintained on-site support throughout the three-month operational testing phase to make sure the membrane was functioning properly and that all processes complied with regulations.
