Savannah, GA Construction of a cast-in-place 200-foot diameter primary clarifier and corresponding sludge pit for enhanced wastewater treatment capacity. The foundation system includes installation of auger cast piles to support the clarifier structure, ensuring stability and load-bearing capacity for the large-diameter concrete basin.
Under-slab piping connects the clarifier to the sludge pit for efficient solids handling. Wellpoint dewatering systems control groundwater during installation of underground utilities and concrete structures, allowing safe and dry construction conditions. This primary treatment infrastructure provides critical solids removal capacity for the treatment facility.
This work was on an active production facility where we had to complete our work with no interuption to the operations of the plant. We coordinated our deliveries and our work area to make this a successful project for our team and the plant opertaions.
