Asheville, NC The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing pump station and site work, followed by construction of a new raw sewage pump station to replace outdated infrastructure. The scope includes construction of 60″ influent gravity sewer utilizing both open cut and tunnel methods, along with installation of 42″ force main via open cut excavation.
Additionally, the project encompasses comprehensive CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) rehabilitation of existing pipe and manholes to extend the service life of critical sewer infrastructure. This complete system upgrade ensures reliable wastewater conveyance and pumping capacity while modernizing aging collection system components through advanced trenchless rehabilitation techniques.
Project site is located along the river and is susceptible to flooding and significant dewatering. We are utilizing a secant pile shoring system for the excavation to help prevent sloped excavations and dewatering issues.
